Southern & Seams: Meet Sydney

Hey Baseball Babes,

Allow me to re-introduce myself, my name is HOV, jk (sorry for the Jay-Z pun,I've obviously spent too much time at Diamondbacks games, i.e. it's Archie Bradley's walk out song), I'm Sydney. I am currently a Player & Media Relations Intern for the Arizona Diamondbacks and obtaining my master's in Sports Law & Business at Arizona State University. Since I was in high school, baseball has become a defining part of who i am- like the seams have been woven into my DNA. When I think of the most memorable times in my life-the good, the bad, and the down right ugly-all seem to revolve around the diamond. From meeting some of my very best friends while working on the promotions squad for the Memphis Redbirds to speeding to Baum Stadium after my parents dropped the news that they were divorcing my freshman year at the University of Arkansas, everything important has involved a little white,leather ball. When I'm not working, I love to spend countless hours on Pinterest looking at clothes. After 6+ years working in various roles in professional baseball, I have had people ask countless questions about my normal day at the ballpark so I decided to start a blog for people to follow my journey. Along the way I will share tidbits of my life in baseball, my favorite game day gear (because it is possible to dress cute for a game ya'll), and various baseball thoughts.
